FISHING VILLAGE - 2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT TRIP
Experience the life of a local fishing village. You will be welcomed in the village community and share a meal in a family house on arrival. In the afternoon, you will head out to the sea on a traditionnal wooden fishing boat. The fishermen will show you their techniques and it will be your turn to try to catch something! You can either go back to the village to have dinner and spend the night in one of the village family houses or sleep on the boat for night fishing. On the second day, after breakfast you can explore the village before heading back before lunchtime.
Departure: 8am from Medan / Bukit Lawang or Berastagi.
Price: 58 euros / person (minimum 2 persons)

Possibility to be dropped somewhere else on the way back.

HOMESTAY
Ever wondered how rural Indonesian people live? Nothing best than a homestay to experience the local way of life and understand the culture and traditions first hand! You will stay in a house village not far from Bukit Lawang and the family welcoming you will ensure that you have everything you need. You will take part in the cooking and the housekeeping (if you want to), indonesian style. A unique experience!
